[edit] What Happens When a Slot is Assigned

At every turn the admin will 'whisper' the game server's password to the players awarded a slot or the Team Captain. This is obviously only for crowd control and can be easily circumvented. Any players joining the server before being issued the password will be banned from that night's game as well as the next game they try to occupy a slot in(not necessarily the next consecutive game). Similarly any players joining the server mid-game in the event of a drop without first receiving a password from the admin will be similarly administered.

[edit] Teamspeak Protocol

This is simple. Speak when spoken to only, otherwise select a name on the TS channel list and whisper to that player. The only time you can address the channel otherwise is if you are issued the password to enter the server and you cannot join because it is filled. In that event interrupt the conversation no matter the topic.

[edit] What Happens When the Server is Full

If you are told to join by the admin or your Team Captain, issued a password, and the server is full, say so publicly on TeamSpeak in a clear interrupting tone irregardless of the discussion. The admin will note their place in the pregame slot allocations, check the server playerlist against the players issued passwords list and kick any players who should not be logged on. They will be punished similarly as above to any other player joining without authorization. The pregame slot assignments will then resume.

[edit] What Is Considered a Drop

A player who disconnects from the game server after the Vacancy Awards is considered to be dropped. They are given the option to attempt to reconnect once or for 2 minutes, whichever expires first. After that point it shall be assumed the internet swallowed them whole and they are gone for this game.

[edit] When Someone Drops from the Infantry Division Squads

In the event of a mid-game drop from the infantry Division, the Team Captain will be asked who their next alternate is and the admin and only the admin will contact that player in Teamspeak and issue the password. If no alternate from their squad roster is available the admin will issue the password to the next free agent in the numbered free agent list for that game.

[edit] When Someone Drops from the CO, Jet, or Helo Division

In the event of a drop from any of the other divisions(CO, Jet, Helo), the admin will issue the password to the next player on the numbered list for that division. CO, Jet, or Helo Division players who have already turned down the seat in the pregame divisional slot assignments and are already in game fighting with their squad are ineligible to fill these vacancies(not that they would be the next in-line anyway). Those in-game fighting who are next on the numbered list will be offered the seat both through TS and their Team Captain. In the case that they accept, their vacated Infantry Division squad slot will be treated as its own drop and handled as outlined above.

[edit] What Makes It All Go

Holding a match is just that easy.  :) Admin volunteers should contact me regardless of their current status as either a TG BF2 admin or not. The rest of you should thank whatever miserable bastards I find to do this. The primary admin of the match most likely won't be able to participate. But assistant pregame admins who can assign an army's players would cut the time of the pregame ordeal in half and could participate in the game I imagine.
